With the onset of winter coming be sure to turn off your hose bibs from the interior shut off valves. Bleeding of the line should also be done to prevent ice build ups. Also, be aware that even “frost free” hose bibs are prone to leaking due to cold temperatures. If they can be shut off from inside it is still a good idea to do so. A leaking hose bib can cause great amounts of damage and costly repairs!
